Why Choose This Tour?
One of our most popular adventures — this small-group tour blends two iconic safari parks (Amboseli & Tsavo), the culture of the Maasai, and time to unwind on the powdery white sands of Diani Beach. Start in Nairobi’s lively cityscape, ride past the majestic Mt. Kilimanjaro in Amboseli, track red-dusted elephants in Tsavo, and then — just when you think it can’t get better — sink your toes into the white sands of Diani Beach. This is not a safari. This is a story you’ll retell for years.

Quick Highlights – What Makes This Tour So Unforgettable?
🗻 Amboseli National Park with Kilimanjaro Views
Wake up to the snowy peak of Mt. Kilimanjaro framed by acacia trees and vast savannah — and keep your camera ready for elephants parading in front of Africa’s most iconic backdrop.
🐘 Red Elephants of Tsavo
Meet Tsavo’s famously red-coated elephants (they roll in iron-rich soil — it's not a skincare trend, it’s just their thing). Lions, giraffes, zebras, and more roam this dramatic, untamed landscape.
🛖 Authentic Maasai Village Experience
Visit a traditional Maasai village and learn about the rich customs, colorful dress, and deep connection these pastoralists have to the land. It’s not a performance — it’s their life.
🏖 White Sands of Diani Beach
After safari dust comes salty sea breeze. Dip your toes in the warm turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean and let Diani's palm-fringed coast restore your soul.

Tour itinerary

Day 1: Nairobi – Welcome to the Urban Jungle
Karibu Kenya!
Step off the plane and into a city where wild rhinos and skyscrapers share the skyline. After airport pickup, you’ll check into a cozy city hotel. If you’re feeling fresh, why not visit the Giraffe Centre (yes, you can kiss a giraffe), or drop by the Karen Blixen Museum? Nairobi is the only capital in the world where you can spot a lion while sipping your flat white.
🦒 Animals you might see (already!): giraffes, rhinos, zebras, maybe even a lion in Nairobi National Park.

Day 2: Nairobi → Amboseli – The Land of Giants (and Views)
After breakfast, off we go to Amboseli National Park, about a 4–5 hour scenic drive. Watch the landscape shift from city buzz to open plains framed by Mount Kilimanjaro — Africa’s rooftop. Arrive, stretch, and head straight into your first game drive, where the real cast of The Lion King awaits.
🐘 Expect to see:
-
Up to 1,500 elephants, many in large herds.
-
Buffaloes, hyenas, jackals, and wildebeest.
-
Zebras in stylish stripes and cheetahs in full sprint if you're lucky.
-
Over 400 bird species, from flamingos to fish eagles.
Evening sundowner? Yes please.

Day 3: Full Day in Amboseli – Elephants & Maasai
Wake up to misty Kilimanjaro views and coffee with a soundtrack of birdsong. Today’s for game drives — slow and steady, spotting gazelles, hippos, and maybe a lazy leopard or lion in the shade. We’ll also visit a Maasai village, where you’ll meet elders in crimson shukas, learn about beadwork, dance traditions, and perhaps join in a jumping contest (don’t worry, there’s no scorecard).
🌿 Wild + Cultural = Unforgettable.
“Want to see elephants from above? A hot air balloon ride in Amboseli can be added to your itinerary for this day! See all optional adventures on our [Add-Ons Page].”

Day 4: Amboseli → Tsavo – Into the Red Wilderness
Today we head to Tsavo, home of the legendary maneless lions (yes, they exist), dusty-red elephants, and Kenya’s largest national park. Expect raw, wild Africa — baobab trees, volcanic hills, and big horizons.
🦁 Wildlife roll call:
-
Lions, leopards, elephants, buffalos, and crocodiles
-
Maybe a shy lesser kudu or the odd monitor lizard
-
It’s remote, vast, and beautifully wild — with far fewer tourists than the famous parks
Evening game drive followed by a starlit dinner. Magical.

Day 5: Tsavo → Diani – From Safari Dust to Sea Breeze
After breakfast, we roll down to Diani Beach, where white sands, turquoise waves, and chilled coconuts await. You'll be dropped off at your beachfront hotel — it's time to trade safari boots for sandals. Check in to your beach hotel (your home until departure on Day 10), kick off your shoes, and exhale. This is your time to relax, reset, or start plotting your beach adventures
🌴 No lions here, but the monkeys might try to steal your snacks.

Days 6–9: To Lounge or to Explore? That Is the Question.
Whether your spirit animal is a beach towel or a curious monkey, these days are yours to tailor. Sunbathe like a lizard on Diani’s powdery beaches… or spice things up with some optional adventures:
-
Wander through Mombasa’s Old Town and enjoy a fancy lunch at Tamarind (yes, it’s delicious, and yes, you'll want seconds).
-
Visit Kaya Kinondo Forest, where sacred trees whisper ancient secrets and colobus monkeys do their thing.
-
Kayak through the mangroves, feeling like an explorer on a leafy river safari.
-
Snorkel around Wasini Island, where fish are fabulous and the sunset might make you cry happy tears.
Whether you go full Indiana Jones or full beach bum — we support your choices.

Day 10: Farewell Kenya –
But Never Goodbye
After one last lazy breakfast, we’ll transfer you to Mombasa or Ukunda airport for a short flight to Nairobi, or you can opt for the scenic SGR train. Either way, your heart will be heavier than your luggage.
🧡 Asante sana Kenya. See you again.

Children up to 12 years old enjoy special pricing, depending on how they share the room with parents or siblings. Just let us know your family setup and we’ll tailor the price accordingly.
